I want a good novel primarily. I've just finished reading about string theory, so some fiction would help.

Warhammer Novel Review and Lore: The Keeler Image by Dan Abnett (Eisenhorn series)

Novogord Mr Goblin Posts: Wie wind zaait, zal storm oogsten. The ambassador chronicles isn't that great, but rather fun to read. The story is rather predictable. Quote from: Novogord on September 11, , PM. StirlandJager Posts: I remember reading the Konrad series years and years ago, but there is no way those books would be canon for current edition warhammer fluff.

Iirc in Konrad Skaven were still a kind of beastmen. Oh aye, Blackhearts Omnibus. Not read it myself but meaning to pick it up under recommendation from a picky friend. Am I the only person who couldn't quite guess the Ambassador Chronicles?

Then again, I try not to guess so as to not disappoint myself when the end does come. Cannonofdoom Posts: Quote from: Grutch on February 07, , AM. Helgrim Posts: I can't recommend Riders of the dead highly enough, a great story that bucks the trend of bad writing from Black Library. I have read almost all the black library catalouge and others that jump out are Skavenslayer, the wine of dreams, the witch hunter trilogy, brunner series.

Iron company is by far the best of the recent empire related novels, though I can say they are all worth a reed call to arms, reiksgaurd etc.

Also the roleplay books! Great reads! Shadowlord Pure of Heart Posts: I sorta liked the Ambassador book even if it is set in Kislev but with Empire characters.

Broken Honour (Warhammer) by Robert Earl

Don't expect them to be masterpieces but more like the game, Beer and Pretzel. My hood is my castle Siberius Posts: The Minotaur Cat. Another vote for Blackhearts. Good characters. Quote from: PhillyT. The blackhearts is good, only read one of them though. Thomas Aagaard Posts: "Victoria per Diciplin". Is basicly a dirty dozen ripoff but it pretty good. And hole middle part takes place with an army Thomas Aagaard "Stirland Kampfgruppe Forwards! Really, really recommend picking them up when they do come out. Note the short stories in Knights of the Empire appear to not be sold on the BL website on their own; so chances are they might be from Inferno Classic which is being put on print-on-demand every few months, I believe January is when the next set goes on sale or from other sources.

So a few days from now and another big block of Gotrek and Felix and then two months with a focus on many things skaven and dwarven! Note that Skaven Wars includes the "Black Plague" collected book within it. I've kept the collected book listed but noted on its listing that its now present in the new collected edition with the other skaven stories as well.

Added the new Gotrek and Felix 3rd Omnibus edition to the post! Rather easy to see what will be in the 4th however considering how many of the short and stand alone stories are not within one of the current 3 I wonder if by the time we reach the 4th we might get a 5th of all the collected short stories and the like. Which would be a handy way to tie up the loose ends of Gotrek and Felix. Then again that might get bundled into 5th omnibus along with the End Times stories of the Duo. I've not added them to the list as yet as I don't have the actual contents for them GW preview site doesn't show them.

However you can assume that the stories listed in their respected series lists will appear, the question is really if there are any short stories that will get included as well. Updated with the newest publications.
